This position is available for the 2024 summer season only.

POSITION TITLE:        MAINTENANCE __ General

 
SCHEDULE:                  8 hours per day

 
REPORTS TO:               Director/Asst Director Maintenance

 
POSITION SUMMARY:  Assist in maintaining heating and cooling equipment for the district; perform general Maintenance duties in the district.

 
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:

1. Ability to read and write.
2. Ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor.
3. Ability to perform daily tasks with minimum supervision.
4. Ability to operate power equipment.
5. Ability to work well with others.
6. Ability to follow written directions.
7. Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed. 
8. Valid Missouri Driver's License.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Shall assist in the repair and install of all kitchen equipment such as stoves, freezers, coolers, ovens etc.
2. Shall assist in the repair of existing and installation of new plumbing, gas, and electric service in buildings.
3. Shall assist in the repair of old and installation of new underground gas, electric, water, and sewer lines.
4. Shall have ability to operate backhoe, dump truck, lift truck, and other equipment to perform jobs listed above.
5. Shall have ability to effectively communicate and work well with students, parents, support, and instructional staff.
6. Shall perform duties assigned by supervisors.
